One Year at Stanford Coachworks

2023 has been an incredibly busy one for the team at Stanford Coachworks, so as the year draws to a close, we take a look back at some of the vehicles that we have converted each month.

January

To kick off the year, we began converting multiple PTS ambulances for one of our long-term medical clients, B.V.S Group. You can read more about them by clicking here.

February

Next up in February, we worked closely with our long-term leasing clients, Enterprise Flex-e-Rent, to introduce a new mobile assessment unit to the market. The premium transportation service will be offered as part of Enterprise’s hire scheme to a variety of medical organisations including the NHS. Find out more here.

March

In March we had the pleasure of converting ‘Mike the Minibus’ for Havens Hospice in memory of our wonderful Sales Director, Mike Gasper. We sadly lost Mike earlier this year, following his three-year long battle with Prostate Cancer, but his memory will always live on through Mike the Minibus.

April

Throughout April we converted a variety of different production vehicles, splitter tour buses and corporate transfer vehicles for our friends at Civilised Car Hire.

May

We did something special in May! We had the honor of converting a bespoke vehicle for the Neasden Temple to help welcome and transport his Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj during his visit to the UK and Europe.

June

Reaching the mid-point of the year, we converted a premium professional tour bus for one of our returning music industry clients.

July

Now for something a little different… In June we unveiled our latest Monaco Sprinter demonstrator vehicle with all of the lasting technology. And in true SCW style, after promising ourselves we would keep it for a while, we sold it not long after!

August

Now back to our specialist wheelchair accessible conversions! In August we converted another two colourful wheelchair accessible Mercedes Sprinters for our returning clients, Wandsworth Community Transport.

September

Two for one! In September we converted two wheelchair accessible Volkswagen Crafters for one of our long-term care group clients.

October

Now for October… We created a premium accessible minibus (complete with Monaco colour changing roof lighting!) for our returning clients, Stantons of Stoke.

November

In November we introduced our brand-new SCW blue ‘Eclipse’ seating design which featured in multiple conversions, including a premium front entry Mercedes Sprinter.

December

And finally in December, we went on a Winter adventure to design our very first luxury 4x4 Monaco Sprinter, ready for the start of the Ski season!

We would like to say thank you to all of our clients and suppliers for their support throughout 2023. This year has been our busiest and most sucessful to date, so we would also like to say a huge thank you to our incredible team for all of their hard work.
