PTS Ambulance Conversions

At Stanford Coachworks we carry out a number of different medical service vehicle conversions and one of our most popular conversions is the PTS ambulance. With the option to carry seated passengers, wheelchairs or a stretcher, this versatile conversion can be used for services such as out of hours hospital transfers, non-emergency patient transport, event medical cover, personal door to door transport and more.

With almost 30 years of vehicle conversion knowledge, we ensure that every conversion leaving our facility is built to meet the highest UK safety regulations. Each of our medical service vehicles undergoes a specialist IVA inspection where the conversion aspect of the vehicle is tested on a number of different safety features. All of our vehicles are supplied with a certificate to confirm that they have passed this vital inspection.

We work closely with our client to help design a specialist medical service vehicle fit for purpose. This particular Renault Master L3H2 has been converted for one of our long-term clients, Specialist Vehicle Sales and Hire. Over the years, we have assisted SVS in creating a bespoke specification which works perfectly for their client base. Full wipe clean interior, piped oxygen, overhead storage lockers and a heavy duty fold-out ramp are amongst just a few of the options chosen to feature in SVS’ conversions.
