The SCW Secure Cell

We are so pleased to be converting another Secure Cell Vehicle for one of our long-term medical clients SMT Ambulance. We have had the pleasure of working with SMT Ambulance for almost 30-years and during this time we have supplied them with a variety of medical service vehicles.

The Secure Cell Vehicle is designed to specifically transport high-risk mental health patients who could pose a potential threat to themselves or others. Because of this, the vehicle also includes emergency blue lights and sirens.

The Conversion

SMT Ambulance’s latest Secure Cell is based on the Renault Master and can facilitate up to six passengers plus driver with an additional four passengers inside of the cell. The passenger saloon is fully wipe clean and features wipe clean seating, rear heater and air conditioning system, LED lighting and lockable overhead storage racks. Access to the cell can be achieved either from the passenger saloon or via the rear doors.

• Limo tinted rear windows

• Facility to transport up to 6 passengers plus driver with 4 additional passengers in the secure cell

• 5 seats in the passenger saloon upholstered in grey wipe clean material with green piping

• Front cabin seats reupholstered to match the rear saloon

• Full wipe clean interior lining

• Floor overlaid with non-slip grey covering

• Pedal operated side step fitted below the side load door

• Overhead lockable storage compartment

• Oxygen bottle storage point

• Eberspaecher heating and air conditoning

• USB / USBc charging socket

• Blue / white LED interior lighting

• Heavy-duty rear door stays

• 4-person secure cell fitted at the rear of the vehicle

• LED lighting and extractor fan fitted inside of the cell

• Roll down wipe clean curtain to cover the cell when not in use
