Stanfords in Scotland: Pro-Monaco for a Luxury Resort

Looking for a premium passenger carrying vehicle? It’s not just accessible minibuses that we specialise in at Stanford Coachworks! Our unique design approach allows us to create a variety of expert vehicles including our latest 8-seat Pro-Monaco for Volkswagen Van Centre Glasgow.

Volkswagen Van Centre Glasgow has been approached by an executive client who was interested in designing a custom-build superior vehicle to transport guests around their impressive 400-acre estate. Cameron House is a luxury 5-star resort based on the 24-mile freshwater Loch Lomond in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The exceptional estate features a historical 17th century Baronial mansion, home to a prestigious collection of 140 rooms and 24 suites. An award-winning spa, a championship 18-hole gold course, a selection of restaurants and bars, a 234-berth marina and a variety of relaxing or exhilarating resort activities, are amongst just a few of the things that can be enjoyed on the estate located within the Trossachs National Park.

The Pro-Monaco

Transporting guests around the sizable resort could be challenging, so to assist, we have converted a luxurious long wheelbase Volkswagen Crafter, supplied by Cameron House’s local dealer - Volkswagen Van Centre Glasgow. The Pro-Monaco can carry up to eight passengers and also features a premium blue interior. We designed the Crafter to reflect Cameron House’s prestigious reputation by including a number of specialist touches such as embroidered cushions and cosy blankets.

Each passenger seat includes an embroidered cushion and a cosy blanket.

To enter the vehicle, passengers have access via the front cabin door where we have designed a cut in carpeted step. Once inside, a choice of eight reclining passenger seats, six of which configured in a social arrangement around tables, is available. Each passenger seat has been upholstered in a high-quality genuine blue leather with custom stitching an contrasting black piping.

Cameron House’s Crafter is designed to provide clients with the full luxury experience, so we installed a custom-built service area with a fridge to store sparkling refreshments and snacks. The service area also features a lockable storage compartment, drink holders and a champagne flute display rack. Guests can even enjoy these luxuries in the comfort of their own seat as each table has been designed to include an ice bucket, additional drink holders and champagne racks.

Being comfortable whilst traveling is an essential for Cameron House’s therefore rear saloon heating and air conditioning has been fitted along with 240-volt power sockets, USB and USB-c charging points.

Whether it be suitcases, overnight bags, golf clubs or anything else, Cameron House’s Crafter has a large rear boot space to accommodate for all sorts of luggage! We have trimmed this rear boot space in the same materials as the passenger cabin and have installed an automatic LED sensor light.

Thanks from Stanford Coachworks

We are honoured to have been given the opportunity to convert Cameron House’s Pro-Monaco and we would like to say thank you to Volkswagen Van Centre Glasgow for using Stanford Coachworks as their chosen converter. We hope to get the chance to work with Volkswagen Van Centre Glasgow again in the future and we especially hope that Cameron House’s guests enjoying using their new luxury Pro-Monaco.
