Conversions and Conversations with Influx Magazine

Last month, Stanford Coachworks were visited by Dave Vitty and Matt Ward from Influx magazine who were tasked with writing an article about minibus conversions for Adrian Flux insurance. Adrian Flux are currently introducing new insurance policies for their minibus customers.

Finally, after endless hours of Googling, Dave came across Stanford’s. He got in contact with our corporate sales manager Paul Dedman. As a result, Paul arranged a date with SCW’s co-director Jess Rider for the filming to commence.

Stanford Coachworks was a great choice for Influx magazine due to the wide range of vehicles that we produce. Our conversions range from wheelchair accessible minibuses, ambulances and school minibuses right the way up to our luxury Monaco mini coaches.

At the beginning of the day, Dave and Matt were shown around our workshops by Jess. Jess explained what the vehicle production process was to Dave and Matt during the tour. The skill sets that our coachbuilders possess highly impressed dave and matt upon introduction. Only 2-3 coachbuilders are responsible for an entire conversion from start to finish, this surprised Dave and Matt.

Matt decided to test out his new camera. It proved great for gaining natural footage and a real insight into how Stanford Coachworks is ran.

Matt filmed many of Stanford’s coachbuilders working on various vehicles.

We would like to thank Dave, Matt and all of the team at Influx for choosing us to feature in their film and article.
