Ready for 2023 with New Tour Buses
2023 is fast approaching and our clients at Blacklight Tours have just taken delivery of two brand-new production vehicles to prepare for the year ahead.
Bespoke WAV for a Young Adult’s Care Group
Over the years, we have worked with a variety of different health and care organisations and during this time we have converted a number of specialist vehicles specifically for clients with complex needs.
Most recently, we had the pleasure of converting a L3H2 Fiat Ducato for a group of specialist residential homes based in Bedfordshire. The group specialises in providing long-term residential care and support to young people, aged 18 and over, with complex needs such as autism or learning difficulties. Each home works closely with its young adult clients to help them achieve their aspirations. Some of the group’s specialist services include accommodation with nursing or personal care, care for individuals with learning difficulties, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and serious impairments plus care for children or adults aged 65 and under.
Our Conversion
Exterior
This bespoke conversion is based on a L3H2 Fiat Ducato and features limo tinted rear windows for passenger privacy.
Interior
This colourful minibus features a fun and vibrant interior complete with colour-changing LED roof lighting, on-board WiFi and striking red seatbelts.
Accessibility
For easy accessibility, we have installed an internal tail lift at the rear of the vehicle. Beneath the side load door, we have also installed a manual side step.
Building a Greener Future for the Next Generation at the London EV Show
We are excited to be partnering with Heathrow Van Centre once again to exhibit the latest edition to the e-SCW range at this year’s London EV Show, taking place this week!
Our brand new fully-electric Maxus eDeliver 9 will be on display at the fantastic Heathrow Van Centre stand. This innovative vehicle has been converted by us into a wheelchair accessible minibus, which can facilitate up to eight seated passengers or three wheelchairs with seats removed. The vehicle also comes complete with M1 and M2 brake approval, making it the first-of-its-kind.
