The Royal Household Returns to SCW

The Royal Household is made up of a group of different departments who support member of the Royal British Family. Previously we proudly supplied the Royal Household with four vehicles in both 2017 and 2020, so we are honoured to see them return for a third time. These two new vehicles have been designed to carry specialist equipment and feature a large rear storage area with a comfortable passenger cabin in the front. To help transport larger equipment, such as flag poles, each vehicle features a custom-built bulkhead with a slot-through into the passenger cabin.

The SCW Specialist Conversion

Based on the Mercedes Sprinter L3H2, both vehicles have the facility to transport up to 8 passengers plus driver and feature a soft-feel patterned moquette interior with 7 fixed passenger seats in the rear. Other features include an electric side step fitted beneath the side load door, wood-effect floor covering, LED interior roof lighting and for official use - exterior blue emergency lights. How are Stanford Coachworks different to other converters?

We dont work on a production line, each of our vehicles are individually handcrafted by an expert team of two coachbuilders who convert the whole vehicle from start to finish. This unique approach gives us complete flexibility with our customers designs.

Where each vehicle is individually converted, our customers have more ways in which they can personalise their vehicles. We offer a variety of different features from ambient roof lighting and colourful exterior signwriting to bespoke-built storage compartments and luggage pens.
