The Secure Cell Vehicle: A SCW & B.V.S Group Collaboration
At Stanford Coachworks we offer a unique completely personalised service to all of our clients which helps us build our trusted working relationships. One of our long-term clients, B.V.S Group, has been returning to Stanfords for almost 30 years and during this time, we have converted numerous medical service vehicles with custom specifications for them.
Who are B.V.S Group?
B.V.S Group are a UK based company who work with partners in the UK and internationally to produce high quality vehicles with the latest innovation to supply leading NHS trusts, private organisations and charities.
Stanford Coachworks and B.V.S Group in collaboration, have designed a high-specification Secure Cell Vehicle. The vehicle is designed to specifically transport high-risk mental health patients who could pose a potential risk or threat to themselves or others.
B.V.S Group’s new Secure Cell demonstrator is based on a Renault Master L3H2 and features a split rear saloon configuration. The front half of the vehicle, reserved for care teams, is lined fully in easy to clean materials and features four premium comfort passenger seats. In the rear half of the vehicle, we have installed a Secure Cell Unit which can safely facilitate patients.
