The All-New Civilised LL9 Tour Buses

We are pleased to introduce our latest tour bus conversions for one of our long-term customers, Civilised Car Hire.

Civilised’s new 9-seat luxury long-wheelbase tour buses (LL9s), built on the Volkswagen Crafter, form a six-vehicle fleet available in two perfected designs. Four of the vehicles follow Civilised’s well-known 9-seat layout, featuring a spacious rear equipment storage area, while the remaining two are special-edition LL9 Production models, each incorporating a full rear production area for on-the-go makeup and dressing facilities.

What’s the Difference Between Civilised’s Original M9 and the new LL9 Tour Buses?

The new LL9 models introduce a significantly upgraded passenger cabin, featuring larger comfort seating upholstered in black vegan leather with silver diamond stitching. Built on the long-wheelbase Volkswagen Crafter, the LL9 offers a noticeably more spacious passenger cabin with increased legroom compared to the original medium-wheelbase M9 design. This enhanced layout delivers a more premium, open and comfortable travel experience for passengers.

Features of the New LL9 Tour Buses

All seats are arranged in a forward-facing layout, complemented by a half-height front bulkhead that incorporates a dedicated desk area, a storage cupboard and a wireless charging station. Above, an overhead television with Apple TV and Bluetooth soundbar provides seamless on-board entertainment.

As standard, the LL9 Tour Bus includes a spacious rear equipment storage area fitted with a roof-mounted clothing rail, LED lighting and both 240-volt and USB / USBc power. The two special-edition models introduce a completely different rear saloon configuration - a full production area featuring a fold-away dressing table and an LED-illuminated smart mirror. These models also feature 240-volt plug sockets in the rear, powered by a larger inverter to support hairdryers and other professional tools. Take a closer look at the full specification below.
