Major London Hospital Takes a Stanfords Delivery
Over the past couple of months we have been converting a variety of different medical service vehicles for a returning NHS client.
Our clients are based at a major NHS hospital in the city and required a range of medical service vehicles that can be used in a number of different situations. Being in Central London, the hospital required a greener transport solution for their patients so they opted for some new hybrid Toyota Corollas. The Corollas will be used for non-emergency patient transport.
For patients requiring wheelchair access, we have converted a number of Mercedes Sprinters and Vitos. Each Vito features a specialist winch and restraint system and can carry one wheelchair plus four seated passengers.
The L2H2 Mercedes Sprinters are significantly larger and have been converted in two different layouts. The Sprinters have been configured to transport either eight seated patients, plus up to three wheelchairs with seats removed, or with four tip and fold seats and space to transport a patient in a stretcher.
