GL Minibuses Take Delivery of Their First SCW Premium Minicoach

Recently we had the pleasure of working with a minibus hire company based in Washington, Sunderland to convert their latest premium 16-seat minicoach.

GL Minibuses

Founded in 2005, GL Minibuses has over 20-years of experience in providing a well-trusted minibus hire service to the people of Washington and beyond. GL minibuses have a high-quality fleet of 12, 14 and 16-seat minibuses available for school trips, family outings, special events and more. The newest addition to this fleet is their very own premium SCW 16-seat minicoach. Take a tour around it below!

The New Vehicle

The new minicoach, built on the Mercedes Sprinter L4H2, is designed to carry up to 16 passengers plus driver and features premium black vegan leather seating with silver stitching and piping. To elevate the sense of luxury, the interior is fully trimmed in silver suedeflex material with contrasting dark grey soft-feel lower side panels. Passenger access is made effortless by a fully electric side step discreetly fitted beneath the side‑load door.

Inside, passenger comforts include ambient colour‑changing roof lighting, low‑level blue floor lighting, USB and USB‑C charging points and premium wood‑effect flooring. At the rear, a generous luggage compartment provides ample storage capacity, enhanced by a thoughtfully-designed fold‑away upper shelf that maximises usable space while keeping the area organised.

The Sprinter also features a number of exterior upgrades including colour coded side body moldings and front & rear bumpers, premium chrome wheel trims, privacy tinted rear windows and high-level marker lights. Take a look at the full specification below.
