Civilised Take Delivery of First Six Production Vehicles for 2026 Festival Season
We’re excited to announce that the first two of six brand-new production vehicles have been delivered to our long-term clients, Civilised Car Hire, in preparation for the 2026 festival season.
Our History with Civilised Car Hire
We have had the pleasure of working with Civilised Car Hire for over 15 years and during this time we have converted in excess of 100 vehicles for them. The Peckham based rental company have a huge variety of vehicles available to hire and specialise in providing top-quality production vehicles, splitter vans and luxury tour buses.
Civilised are continually upgrading their fleet to bring the newest, most advanced vehicles to the industry, helping them maintain their leading name within the sector. All six new vehicles are built on Volkswagen Crafters and feature a split rear saloon layout, with a comfortable passenger cabin at the front and a full dressing room at the rear, accessed via a secure coded-lock door.
Passenger Cabin
In the front half of the vehicle, the passenger cabin has been designed as a premium, collaborative space, featuring six luxury passenger seats upholstered in black vegan leather with Latte piping. The cabin is trimmed entirely in soft-feel materials, complemented by a black suedeflex roof and Latte feature panels. This latest fleet of Civilised’s LP9s also debuts our brand-new wood-effect flooring - never before seen in any of our previous conversions!
To create the perfect on-the-go workspace, the six manually reclining passenger seats are arranged in a conference style layout around a large centre table. The table features 240-volt plug sockets underneath with a wireless charging station on top. For mirroring laptops and other devices, or connected a games console, we have also fitted a HDMI socket to the side of the centre table. On-board entertainment is plentiful, with two televisions featuring Apple TV, Bluetooth soundbar and full on-board WiFi.
Production Area
The rear half of the vehicle has been purpose-designed as a full production area, fully trimmed in soft-feel materials and finished with the same brand-new wood-effect flooring as the passenger cabin. This space features a fold-away dressing table, a high-tech LED-illuminated mirror with independent brightness and colour-tone controls and a roof-mounted clothing rail. When not in use, the custom-built dressing table can be folded away into a protective enclosure, allowing the production area to double as a generous luggage compartment.
