This month we proudly exhibited our latest medical services vehicles, alongside BVS Group, at the Emergency Services Show.

We recently had the pleasure of creating something completely new for the Lamb Brothers - a 4×4-style support vehicle.

To recognise the incredible efforts of our fantastic team during one of our busiest months to date - we we’re treated to a brilliant surprise!

We recently had the pleasure of creating something completely new for the Lamb Brothers – a 4x4 style support vehicle designed to expand their fleet with a rugged, mobile storage and workspace solution.

A Lamb Brothers First: The Mercedes Sprinter Support Vehicle

We’ve proudly worked with Lamb Brothers since 2023 and during this time we have supplied them with six specialist production vehicles. This time, the touring professionals were after something a little different to help support their growing fleet of tour buses.

A Dedicated Space With Specially Designed Storage

Inside, the front features a dedicated desk and locker with full on-board WiFi, while the rear half is fitted with multiple shelves, storage units and racking, including designated charging stations for cameras and other production equipment.

Built for All Kinds of Shoot Environments

Built to handle demanding shoot environments, the new vehicle features a 4-bulb light bar for bright on-set lighting, rear high-intensity lamps, side tube steps, and front bull bar. The interior is trimmed in hard-wearing black carpet, with black chequer-plated side walls and rear doors for added protection and easy cleaning, complemented by LED lighting and 230-volt power throughout.

Vehicle Specification

  • Based on the Mercedes Sprinter L3H2 with limo tinted rear passenger windows.

  • Front bull bar, 4-bulb LED light bar, side awning and side tubes.

  • Front desk area with lighting control panel and 230V charging sockets.

  • Interior trimmed fully in soft-feel materials with chequer-plated covering.

  • Rear storage compartments

  • 5000-watt Victron inverter.

  • Front cabin seats reupholstered in black vegan leather with diamond stitching.

  • Racking throughout with LED illuminated compartments.

Stanford Coachworks & BVS Group Take Centre Stage at the Emergency Services Show

This month we proudly exhibited our latest medical service vehicles, alongside BVS Group, at the Emergency Services Show in Birmingham.

The event was a great opportunity to properly introduce ourselves as Stanford Coachworks and BVS Group, together following the acquisition, and to showcase the strength and expertise we bring as one team.

What Did We Have on Display?

We were proud to showcase two standout vehicles at the Emergency Services Show: our latest Fiat Ducato HDU ambulance and the innovative fully electric Ford eCustom PTS. Each model has been carefully engineered to maximise efficiency in its specialist role, combining smart design, modern technology and practical functionality to support frontline teams with confidence and reliability.

Our HDU conversion is a brand-new design for the chassis that includes additional cupboardery, multiple bulkhead to ramp floor tracking rails, full intellitec control system, X6 NEATCOM CCTV system and many more features. The feedback was excellent and enquiries are flowing in for orders on the new vehicle!

Our Time at the Show

Hosted at the NEC, the Emergency Services Show gave us the opportunity for everyone to explore our newly developed ambulances and PTS vehicles, see the latest design features focused on safety, comfort and performance and meet our friendly team to discuss upcoming projects and requirements.

We were pleased to catch up with some of our valued customers, as well as meet lots of new faces throughout the show. Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us and see what we do! 

The Specialist SCW Flat Floor Mercedes Sprinter

We were pleased to deliver our latest wheelchair accessible Mercedes Sprinter to one of our returning local authority customers this month.

Their newest addition features our specialist SCW Flat Floor, designed to completely eliminate all rear saloon wheel arches and create an open, flexible space for both passenger seating and wheelchair positions.

Our Relationship with Our Local Authority Customer

We’ve had the pleasure of working with this local authority customer since 2000, and in that time, we’ve proudly converted more than 100 vehicles for them – from 17-seat Mercedes Sprinter minibuses to fully accessible Volkswagen Caddys. Every vehicle is built to their exact specification and supports a wide range of services across the region, including the council’s dial-a-ride operation, local community groups and schools.

The Specialist SCW Flat Floor

The Flat Floor Mercedes Sprinter is one of our specialist wheelchair accessible conversions, engineered to completely remove all wheel arch intrusions and create a fully open rear saloon. This innovative design creates significantly more usable space, enabling flexible seating layouts and additional wheelchair positions without compromise.

Vehicle Specification

  • Based on the Mercedes Sprinter L3H2 with privacy tinted rear passenger windows.

  • 7 x rear passenger seats upholstered in wipe clean material, with capacity for up to 10 x passengers or 3 x wheelchairs.

  • Driver’s and front cab passenger’s seats reupholstered to match the rear saloon.

  • Interior trimmed fully in grey soft-feel materials with vibrant blue feature panels.

  • SCW exclusive low-entry fold-out side step.

  • PLS underfloor tail lift.

  • Manual window blinds.

  • LED blue / white interior lighting and upper cant rail tracking with matching blue covers.

The Pizza Van!

We had The Pizza Post LTD on-site — a full pizza van serving fresh, wood‑fired pizzas for everyone! And of course, a pizza van couldn’t be more fitting for a company built around bespoke vehicle conversions.
