About the New Ambulance
Unlike a standard ambulance, the vehicle is specifically designed around the unique clinical needs of newborn babies. It provides a stable and controlled environment, with sufficient space for specialist medical teams to work safely and effectively. The ambulance is equipped with reliable power supplies, specialist neonatal equipment, and dedicated medical air and oxygen systems that can be precisely adjusted to meet the individual needs of each patient.
With BVS Group’s collaboration with BAUS AT, our partnership now opens the door to even more specialist medical conversions, strengthening our ability to support highly complex medical needs. By combining our collective knowledge and experience, we’ve created a specialist vehicle designed to provide the safest, most advanced environment for neonatal transport.
Two New Accessible Minibuses for an Independent Care Provider
This month we were pleased to deliver two brand-new accessible minibuses to a growing independent care home company. The group is recognised for running small, community-focused homes with integrity, compassion and a commitment to exceptional dementia, nursing, residential and respite care across the country.
Both vehicles are based on the Volkswagen Crafter L2H2 and can facilitate up to eight passengers plus driver, or three wheelchair users with seats removed. Each conversion has been designed to support safe, comfortable and dignified travel for residents, while providing staff with a practical, easy to use layout.
A Premium Interior Finish
Inside, both minibuses feature a premium interior finished with black vegan leather seating, complete with silver diamond stitching and custom embroidered headrests. The rear saloon is trimmed fully in a grey soft-feel material with black suedeflex roof. To enhance the overall premium feel, the tracker floor has been overlaid with wood-effect non-slip lino.
Smart Storage
To support day-to-day operations, both vehicles include a custom-built luggage pen with an integrated side storage box in place of the front cab passenger seat. This area can be utilised to store wheelchairs, shopping trolleys and other essential equipment.
These two new accessible minibuses reflect our customer’s commitment to high-quality care and we’re proud to support their continued growth with vehicles designed to enhance comfort, safety and independence for every passenger.
Accessible Design
Accessible has been prioritised throughout the build. Each vehicle is equipped with a Ricon internal tail lift at the rear, allowing easy boarding for wheelchair users.
