We are thrilled to announce that Stanford Coachworks has been purchased by our long-standing partner of over 10 years, B.V.S Group.
Both Stanford Coachworks and B.V.S Group will continue to operate independently, with no changes to existing business operations, teams, or customer relationships. Everything our customers and suppliers value about how we work will remain the same.
To ensure a smooth transition, Lee and Jess will remain at Stanford Coachworks for the next three years, supporting Jack Byrne, the new owner, as he steps into this exciting chapter. Their continued leadership and hands-on guidance will help preserve the standards, shared values, and customer experience that defines Stanford Coachworks.
Looking ahead, this partnership opens exciting new doors. Working together with B.V.S Group, Stanford Coachworks will have the opportunity to expand our existing product range—particularly in the medical services sector—thanks to B.V.S’s partnership with BAUS AT. This collaboration not only allows us to bring innovative, high-quality medical service vehicles to a broader market, but also increases our production capacity to approximately 1,000 units per year.
Thank you from Lee & Jess
As we enter this new chapter, Lee and Jess shared: “We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to every customer, supplier, and staff member who’s been part of our journey over the past 30 years. Your loyalty, support, and dedication have shaped Stanford Coachworks into the company it is today. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together—and excited for what’s to come.”
A Message from our New Owner Jack Byrne
Director of B.V.S Group and the new owner of Stanford Coachworks, Jack Byrne added: “I’m honoured to be joining the Stanford Coachworks legacy and excited for this new venture. I’ve known Lee and Jess for most of my life and have worked closely with them for the past 13 years. Their support, guidance, and friendship have helped shape my journey, and I’m grateful to have them by my side as we take this next step together.”
We look forward to this next chapter with confidence, knowing it strengthens our foundation and opens new opportunities for growth, innovation, and excellence.
The Brand-New Renault Master
We’re excited to welcome two brand-new additions to our conversion catalogue: the Renault Master and the fully-electric Renault Master E-Tech.
These vehicles unlock new opportunities across our range — from wheelchair accessible vehicles and non-accessible minibuses to PTS conversions and fully-electric e-SCW minibuses. And the best part? This vehicle is now available to order!
A New Design…
The Renault Master and Renault Master E-Tech models introduce a variety of new features that elevate both style and functionality. A sleek new exterior design helps enhance aerodynamics, contributing to improved efficiency and road presence. At the front, the vehicles feature an upgraded grille proudly displaying Renault’s new-era emblem. Inside, the cabin has been redesigned featuring a new dashboard that now includes a 10-inch screen integrated with a modern multimedia system, offering drivers enhanced connectivity and control.
Our First Three New Renault Master Conversions
We’re delighted to have completed our first three wheelchair accessible Renault Master conversions for a home-school transport company based in Kent. These vehicles will support the company’s vital mission of providing safe, reliable transport for children and adults with special educational needs.
Each wheelchair accessible Renault Master has been configured to accommodate up to 8 seated passengers or up to 3 wheelchairs when seats are removed. All seating is trimmed in durable, wipe-clean material and fitted with removable fixings for flexible layout and easy maintenance. To support safe and efficient loading, the vehicle includes an AutoLift internal tail lift, while additional features such as a wheelchair restraint storage box, upper cant rail tracking, and LED blue / white roof lighting ensure a secure, comfortable, and well-lit environment for every journey.
