A Look Back at Some of Our Standout Conversions from 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, we take the opportunity to look back at some of the specialist vehicles that we have converted throughout the year.

Jess' Marathon Bus

In October, we had the privilege of delivering a very special vehicle to Sidestrand Hall School in Norfolk. This minibus was generously donated by Variety, the Children’s Charity, and made possible thanks to the incredible fundraising efforts of Jess, who proudly completed the London Marathon with his daughter, Alice, to raise the necessary support.
The First Limited Edition Accessible Tour Bus

Over the summer, we proudly completed our first limited-edition accessible tour bus for our long-standing partners, London VIP Travel. This groundbreaking wheelchair-accessible vehicle is the very first of its kind to enter the UK chauffeur market, offering London VIP’s clients who require additional accessibility a truly luxurious travel experience.
Premium Fiat Ducato Secure Cell

Recently, we partnered once again with BVS Group to deliver our latest premium secure cell conversion, built on the new Fiat Ducato. Purpose-designed for the safe transport of high‑risk mental health patients, these vehicles provide absolute confidence in secure operations while ensuring protection for both passengers and staff.
The New Renault Master

This year saw the release of the brand‑new Renault Master and we were thrilled to complete our first three wheelchair‑accessible conversions on it. We had the pleasure of supplying the vehicles to a home‑school transport company in Kent, ensuring safe and reliable travel for children and adults with special educational needs.
The All-New Monaco

Earlier this year, we partnered with Morris Fawsitt Coachbuilders to take the Monaco Sprinter to new heights—refining its design and elevating it to an even higher level of luxury. After extensive development, we proudly unveiled not one but two exceptional models: the Monaco and the Monaco Luxury.
Mobile Doctors Clinic

At the start of the year, we proudly delivered another bespoke mobile clinic for one of our returning fleet customers. Built on the L4H2 Peugeot Boxer, this specialist vehicle was designed to provide vital assessments and treatment for homeless individuals and anyone in need. Fully equipped with essential medical facilities, the clinic can travel across a wide area, ensuring accessible care and support for everyone.
Civilised's Luxury Tour Buses

For over 20 years, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside Civilised Car Hire, and this year we proudly added two more luxury Pro‑Monaco tour buses to their impressive fleet. Each executive vehicle is equipped with eight VIP electric reclining passenger seats plus driver, and features a bespoke rear dressing room. Immediately after delivery the vehicles headed straight to the 2025 Glastonbury Festival!

Christmas at Stanfords

New Product: The Nissan Interstar

We are delighted to unveil our very first conversion on the Nissan Interstar, further expanding our product range. Our first wheelchair accessible conversion offers flexible capacity - accommodating up to seven sated passengers plus the driver, or up to three wheelchair users when seats are removed.

What Will the New Vehicle be Used For?

The new vehicle will be used as part of an accessible bus service operated by a local authority in the North of England and will play a vital role in supporting residents with mobility challenges. The service provides convenient home pick‑up and drop‑off, connecting passengers to a wide range of shopping and leisure destinations across the region. Every vehicle is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring inclusivity and comfort, while trained drivers are on hand to offer assistance whenever needed.

The New Nissan Interstar

The Nissan Interstar introduces a host of modern upgrades, combining style, safety, and comfort. A bold front grille with integrated LED lights gives the vehicle a striking presence, while advanced safety technology ensures peace of mind on every journey. Inside, the spacious front cabin is designed for convenience, featuring a touchscreen media system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus USB‑C charging ports.

The Stanfords Conversion

Our conversion has been carefully designed to combine practicality with comfort. Inside the Nissan Interstar features wipe‑clean, removable passenger seating for flexible layouts and easy maintenance, alongside a Ricon internal tail lift to ensure smooth wheelchair access. Beneath the side load door we have installed a pedal operated side step to provide added convenience for passengers and a front luggage pen, in place of the front cab passenger seat, offers secure storage for folded wheelchairs and shopping bags.

The Specialist 4x4 PTS Ambulance Conversion

We are excited to share our latest specialist medical service vehicle conversion, designed for one of our long-term leasing customers.

This 4x4 Patient Transport Service (PTS) ambulance has been expertly converted to ensure access to those in need, whatever the terrain or conditions. Built on the Mercedes Sprinter L2H2 AWD, this specialist vehicle can accommodate up to five seated passengers or, with seats removed, up to two wheelchair users.

What Will the Vehicle be Used For?

The vehicle will be used to support hospitals, care providers and community services in Scotland by delivering patients to appointments, treatments or transfers with comfort, dignity and efficiency in all conditions including those in rural or hard to reach areas.

The SCW Conversion

Inside, we have designed the vehicle for practicality and hygiene. All surfaces are fully wipe clean including the passenger seats which are upholstered in durable grey wipe-clean material with yellow piping. To ensure effortless passenger access, the vehicle is equipped with our exclusive fold-out low-entry side step at the side load door. For wheelchair users, a PLS underfloor tail lift has been installed at the rear, providing safe and convenient entry and exit.

An Array of Features

Additional features include overhead lockable storage compartments, dedicated oxygen bottle storage points, Eberspaecher rear saloon heating and air conditioning and a driver’s screen positioned behind the driver’s seat with an integrated night blind. Take a look at the full specification below.
