e-SCW Introducing: The New Renault Master E-Tech
We’re proud to introduce the latest addition to our e-SCW range: the fully electric Renault Master E-Tech!
As the demand for electric vehicle conversions continues to rise, we created the e-SCW range to give our customers safe, reliable and future-ready solutions across a variety of models, without ever compromising on the high-quality, bespoke SCW touch that defines Stanford Coachworks.
The New Renault Master E-Tech
The new Renault Master E-Tech features some noticeable upgrades to the exterior, including a fully facelifted front end, that showcases Renault’s new-era emblem and a more aerodynamic chassis designed to increase overall efficiency. Inside, the front cabin includes significant upgrades in comfort and technology, featuring a 10’’ Open R Link touchscreen multi-media system. Renault has also expanded on their driver-assistance technologies, adding features such as blind-spot assist, parking assist and more for increased safety.
The Stanford Coachworks Conversion
This week, we proudly completed our first Renault Master E-Tech, converted for a local authority based in Surrey. Designed with full accessibility in mind, the vehicle provides a flexible interior layout with 10 passenger seats plus driver or space for up to 3 wheelchairs with some seats removed. Each component within the conversion has been included to meet the local authority’s specific accessibility requirements, such as our exclusive fold-out low-entry side step, designed for safe and easy boarding.
Interior Design
Inside, the vehicle showcases a premium finish with colourful red accents, complemented by a black suedeflex roof centre panel and ambient LED colour-changing lighting. The rear saloon features eight removable passenger seats upholstered in black vegan leather with our grey SCW Eclipse stitch design. The front cabin seats have also been reupholstered with the same Eclipse design for seamless, unified look.
To further enhance accessibility, the vehicle is equipped with an internal Ricon tail lift, a wheelchair restraint storage box, upper cant rail tracking and fully tracked flooring overlaid with premium wood-effect lino.
Our First E-Tech Conversion for Mole Valley District Council
Earlier this month we had the pleasure of delivering our first Renault Master E-Tech to the team at Mole Valley District Council. The handover was led by SCW Sales Director, Paul Dedman, who spent time walking the Mole Valley team through the fully electric vehicle and its exciting new features.
We hope that the team and residents of Mole Valley enjoy using the new vehicle!
Five New Flat Floor Sprinters for Returning Fleet Customer
We are proud to announce the completion of five newly converted Flat Floor Mercedes Sprinters for a long-standing vehicle rental partner. We are pleased to once again work with our returning customer to design these specialist vehicles that will go on to support a local authority’s wide-ranging community services.
These new additions to the fleet will play an important role across essential transport operations, including residential care transport, community transport for elderly residents and home-to-school journeys for children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities.
The Trusted SCW Design
Each of the five vehicles are based on the L4H2 Mercedes Sprinter, offering the ideal base vehicle for high-capacity, multi-use transport. Inside, the vehicle features 9 x wipe clean passenger seats with the capacity to transport up to 16 x passengers or 5 x wheelchairs if required. Each vehicle also features an underfloor tail lift and our exclusive low-entry fold-out side step for complete accessibility. As each vehicle will be used around busy towns and cities, an essential cycle warning system has been fitted.
The SCW Specialist Flat Floor
All five Sprinters feature our specialist Flat Floor design. By eliminating wheel arch intrusions entirely, the SCW Flat Floor creates an unrestricted rear saloon area - maximising usable space for both seating and wheelchair positions. This design not only improves comfort and maneuverability but also gives our customers greater flexibility when configuring layouts for different service requirements.
