Another SCW Jet Class Sprinter Joins Band Van Hire’s Fleet

This month we’re pleased to share with you our latest premium tour bus conversion for our returning customers, Band Van Hire.

Based on the Mercedes Sprinter L3H2, supplied by Rossetts Commercials Mercedes Benz, Band Van Hire’s second SCW ‘Jet Class Splitter’ features premium passenger seating with leg rests, a television with Apple TV and PlayStation 5, ambient colour changing roof lighting and more!

Our History with Band Van Hire

For over seven years, we’ve proudly supported Band Van Hire, starting with their first tour bus conversion in 2019. Since then, we’ve delivered more than ten bespoke builds — from premium tour buses and Jet Class Splitters to ultra‑luxury Monacos — helping to grow their professional touring fleet. With more vehicles already scheduled for production later this year, we’re delighted to continue supporting one of the UK’s leading self‑drive hire providers.

The Jet Class Splitter

Vehicle Specification

Band Van Hire’s latest build marks the arrival of their second Jet Class Splitter, designed with a practical split rear saloon configuration that combines a premium passenger seating cabin in the front half with a spacious equipment storage area in the rear. As Band Van Hire’s highest-spec splitter, the Jet Class model’s passenger cabin is trimmed entirely in black suedeflex and contrasting cream vegan leather.   • Based on the Mercedes Sprinter L3H2 with privacy tinted rear windows.

  • All rear passenger seats fitted with manual leg rests.

Nacro Greater Manchester Outdoor Learning Take Delivery of Bespoke Support Vehicle

Last week we proudly delivered a brand-new bespoke project to Nacro Greater Manchester Outdoor Learning, a programme ran by national charity, Nacro, who use a variety of outdoor activities to help young people build confidence, teamwork and critical thinking skills.

This specialist conversion will play a key role in their Outdoor Learning Programme, helping more young people develop confidence, resilience and practical skills through outdoor sports, bushcraft, conservation, environmental education and hands-on activities.

The Specialist Conversion

Built on the Peugeot Boxer L3H2, the vehicle includes tailored features such as a bike-ready roof rack, removable seating and tables for a quiet working space, and a Thule side awning to create an additional outdoor covered area. It will support the transport of both children and equipment to summer camps, activity sites and holiday clubs - a much needed asset for their growing programme.

Ibex Touring Return for Multiple New SCW Tour Buses

We are pleased to see Ibex Touring - formerly known as Far Beyond Driven - return to us earlier this year to order three brand-new tour buses. This month, we delivered the first one.

We began working with the company in 2021 and have previously supplied them with six bespoke L2H2 Mercedes Sprinter tour buses. Due to continued demand, Ibex Touring have now ordered an additional three vehicles, which will be used by a wide variety of touring artists.

Ibex Touring’s latest vehicle, once again built on the Mercedes Sprinter L2H2, features a sophisticated split rear‑saloon layout with a premium passenger cabin in the front half and a spacious equipment storage area to the rear. The vehicle carries up to eight passengers plus the driver and is fitted with six premium rear passenger seats upholstered in black vegan leather with silver stitching and piping. The passenger cabin also includes a smart television with Apple TV and a Bluetooth soundbar, ensuring passengers can stay entertained and connected throughout every journey.
