Two New PTS Vehicles for a Returning Fleet Customer

We are pleased to once again work with one of our returning fleet customers, this time to produce a different type of vehicle for their wide variety of clients.

The New PTS Renault Masters

Their two latest vehicles, based on the LM Renault Master, are PTS ambulances and can facilitate up to 4 passengers plus driver or 1 wheelchair. These vehicles will be used for non-emergency transport such as taking patients to GP and hospital appointments, transport for care home residents and hospice patients.

Take a Look…

Each vehicle features a full wipe clean interior with tip and fold seating, piped oxygen, o2 bottle storage points, overhead lockers and a front luggage pen. For access to the passenger saloon, we have installed a heavy-duty fold-out ramp with a winch at the rear and a manual side step underneath the side load door.

The SCW Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle

At Stanford Coachworks we offer a wide variety of wheelchair accessible conversions in a range of different sizes. With 30 years of experience, our bespoke conversions are custom-built to meet each individual client’s requirements.

Due to our unique design approach, our vehicles are well trusted by many of the UK’s local authorities. We have had the pleasure of working with a southern-based local authority for in excess of 25 years now and we were delighted to once again deliver a new wheelchair accessible minibus to them earlier this week.

Our Conversion

Their latest two conversions, based on the Mercedes Sprinter L3H2 can facilitate up to 10 passengers plus driver or 3 wheelchairs with seats removed. This particular vehicle was delivered with 6 passenger seats, ready to transport wheelchair users, however it is certified to carry up to 10 passengers. The vehicle also features an underfloor tail lift, our exclusive SCW fold-out low-entry side step, Eberspaecher heating and air conditioning, wheelchair restraint storage boxes and LED interior lighting.

The Flat Floor Conversion

Our customers vehicles also feature our specialist Flat Floor which is expertly designed to eliminate all wheel arch intrusions in the passenger saloon. This results in additional unrestricted space for passenger seats and wheelchairs. You can find out more about our Flat Floor conversions by clicking here.

An Update on Jess’ Marathon for Variety, the Children’s Charity

Great news, although Jess is only 43% through his training program, we are pleased to announce that the £15,000.00 target has been achieved! BUT with everyone’s generosity we are hoping to continue to make the final figure grow further. It would mean so much to Variety, the Children’s Charity if we can exceed the target.

Training Week 12

Jess and Alice are now on week 12 of their training programme and have already covered a whopping 163 miles. They took on their longest run yet of 14 miles last weekend but there’s still quite a lot of ground to cover. To make those upcoming miles a little easier, and to keep them pushing on, let’s help them exceed the original goal.

Help Jess & Alice Exceed Their Target!

If you haven’t yet had the chance to donate, you can do so by visiting Jess’ Just Giving page below. All donations are greatly appreciated and will help contribute towards some of the fantastic work that Variety, the Children’s Charity do.
