It’s been a busy February for the SCW team converting and delivering a variety of accessible vehicles across the UK.
Our Latest Demonstrator Vehicle Hits the Road!
The latest Stanford Coachworks wheelchair accessible demonstrator vehicle has now hit the road! We have had the pleasure of partnering with Southern Motor Group Volkswagen to showcase our latest wheelchair accessible conversion on the L2H2 Volkswagen Crafter.
Why do we produce demonstrator vehicles?
At Stanford Coachworks each of our vehicles are entirely bespoke, so our demonstrator vehicles help give potential clients an excellent insight into the quality of our conversions. We are continuously trialing new products are updating our interior designs, so our demo vehicles also offer our existing clients the opportunity to see what state of the art features we have on offer.

Our new demonstrator can facilitate up to 8 passengers plus driver, or 3 wheelchairs with seats removed, and includes some brand-new features such as our Eclipse seating, a Ricon electric side step, and an Auto Lift internal tail lift. Take a look at the vehicle below!

The Pro-Monaco: A Premium Passenger Carrying Minibus
In February, we had the pleasure of delivering a second premium Pro-Monaco to one of our long-term clients, London VIP Travel. In early January London VIP Travel took delivery of their first 13-seat Pro-Monaco, so we were incredibly excited to deliver their second 17-seat vehicle this month!
London VIP Travel’s Fleet
These two bespoke mini-coaches both feature a number of high-end exterior upgrades as they will be joining London VIP Travels exquisite fleet, which consists of Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Range Rovers and of course two ultra-luxury Monaco Sprinters.
The Design
London VIP Travel has an excellent reputation for high-quality services and offer a variety of luxury UK tours and group transportation for sporting, music and corporate events. It is incredibly important to them that clients travelling in larger groups also experience full luxury and comfort. This is where we come in to help!
Both of London VIP Travel’s new Mercedes Sprinters are based on the extra-long wheelbase (L4H2) model, providing ample leg room for clients traveling in both the 13 and 17-seat vehicles. Their 13-seat Pro-Monaco includes includes a variety of both forward and rearward-facing premium reclining passenger seats, with a social style layout, centered around two tables at the rear. The 17-seat Pro-Monaco also features the same premium reclining seats, this time all arranged in a forward-facing layout. Each passenger has access to a fold-up table too, fitted to the back of each seat.

This Month’s Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles
The Stanford Coachworks team have been busy throughout the month of February converting and delivering a variety of different wheelchair accessible vehicles all across the UK!
Our industry leading wheelchair accessible conversions offer a wide variety of options, enabling us to design bespoke vehicles for our clients, which meet all of their specific transport requirements. Every Stanfords vehicle is custom built to order, therefore we are able to provide personalised vehicles, with all of the extra touches, to meet our client’s demands.
