Who are National Star College?

National Star College are a charity based in Ullenwood, Gloucestershire who provide independent specialist further education to students with physical disabilities, brain injuries and associated learning difficulties. They provide a variety of full-time, part-time or day courses for disabled students aged between 16-25. In addition to this, the fantastic charity also offers student accommodation, long-term accommodation with fully-adapted bungalows or flats, and respite care.

Stanford Coachworks and National Star College

Stanford Coachworks have had the privilege of working with National Star since 2009, to provide accessible, high-quality transport for their students. We’re proud to be supplying their 11th and 12th conversions this year - each one tailored to meet the evolving demands of inclusive travel.

A Third Luxury Tour Bus for The Lamb Brothers

This month we have had the pleasure of supplying our returning clients, The Lamb Brothers, with their third luxury tour bus.

Based on the L3H2 Mercedes Sprinter, the Lamb Brothers latest vehicle can transport up to 8 passengers plus driver and features a comfortable passenger cabin with a custom-built dressing room in the rear.

The Lamb Brothers

The Lamb Brothers first luxury tour bus, delivered in 2024.

The Lamb Brothers are a production support business based in London, serving the fashion photography, TV and film industries. They offer a variety of high-end production vehicles and skilled production assistants for shoots. All of their bespoke vehicles are operated exclusively by their professional team.

We first met the Lamb Brothers back in 2023 when they visited us with the requirement to design a luxury yet functionable tour bus. Their new Mercedes Sprinter, complete with luxury captain seats and starlight headlining, was then delivered in 2024 and due to popular demand, a second tour bus followed earlier this year!

The Rear Production Area

In the rear half of the vehicle, now accessible via an internal door, we have designed a custom-built dressing area for those who require a professional set-up whilst on the road. We have included a fold-away dressing table with flattering LED illumination, perfect for makeup application, hairstyling and wardrobe prep. A roof-mounted rail has also been installed to neatly hang clothing. On the opposite wall we have installed a convenient overhead storage compartment with an additional clothing rail beneath. For more information on this vehicle’s specification, please see below.

Good Things Come in Threes!

The Lamb Brothers’ new tour bus features redesigned seating for a more spacious cabin, now with a coded-lock door providing direct access to the rear production area. To mirror the luxury of their previous vehicles, the Sprinter interior is finished in black suedeflex and vegan leather, with ambient colour-changing roof lighting. Six diamond-stitched seats are configured around a large centre table, complemented by two TVs with Apple TV, a Bluetooth soundbar, and on-board WiFi for seamless entertainment on the move.
