A Premium Passenger Carrying Mercedes Sprinter

This month one of the Stanford Coachworks conversion teams have been busy converting a little bit of luxury for a private hire client.

Their new premium minibus is based on the increasingly popular Mercedes Sprinter L2H1 model and features a variety of high-end options. With limo tinted rear passenger windows and custom black wheels, this is no ordinary minibus!

Interior Design

Passengers can enter the sleek Sprinter via either of the twin side loading doors and can get comfortable in one of the seven custom-stitched passenger seats, upholstered in black e-leather. At Stanford Coachworks the finer details matter to us, so both front cabin seats have also been reupholstered by our specialist seating team in matching black e-leather with custom stitching.

Our customer was looking for something a little different to help his new vehicle stand out so, to elevate the interior, we installed a two-section panoramic roof and trimmed the headlining in black suede with contrasting grey soft-feel side panels. The passenger saloon also features LED comfort blue / bright white lighting and quality speakers to listen to music.

Our latest vehicle designed for this market was converted for one of our long-standing leasing and rental customers who had a request for a bespoke secure cell vehicle.

What is a Secure Cell Vehicle conversion?

Secure Cell Vehicles are designed specifically to transport high-risk individuals who could pose potential threat to themselves or others. Each vehicle is designed individually to provide an appropriate level of protection and care depending on the degree of threat.

Secure Cells are split into two sections, separated by a bulkhead, with the cell itself in the rear half and a passenger seating area in the front half. Take a look at our latest conversion below to see what the vehicle included.
